Saturday mornings in Banbury
This is an open part-time teaching role in Banbury. You will take Saturday morning RAD ballet, street dance or Dance Explorers for children aged 2½ to 11 as we add classes in the town. You do not need to teach every style.

Banbury is a natural next town for us. Families already travel south to Chipping Norton on Saturday mornings, about 20 minutes on the A361. Expanding there means we can hire a local teacher, keep class sizes small, and give north Oxfordshire children RAD ballet, street dance or Dance Explorers without the weekly drive.

RAD, ISTD, BBO, IDTA or equivalent. We are a registered school and parents choose us because the teaching is properly qualified.

Many of our pupils arrive shy. The teachers who last here are the ones who can put a nervous child at ease without dropping the standard of the class.
Technique and play in the same hour
We follow a syllabus, then we go on a dance adventure. If you can teach positions properly and still make a Saturday morning feel like fun, you will fit.
Someone we can leave a class with
DBS checked, first aid trained, and reliable on a Saturday. Parents need to know their child is with someone we have chosen carefully.
What a Saturday looks like
- Term-time Saturday mornings only. No weekday evenings and no holiday timetable unless we agree a workshop separately.
- In-person teaching in Banbury. The school already runs Saturday classes in Chipping Norton, about 20 minutes away, and this role is for the Banbury expansion.
- Small groups of children aged 2½ to 11. You will know each child by name and see them week to week.
- Safeguarding is not optional. DBS checks, first aid and the school's policies sit behind every class.
- Nervous first-timers are normal. The job is to make the room feel safe quickly, then teach.
