Lechlade is just 10 minutes from our Fairford Community Centre classes along the A361, which makes it one of our nearest communities in the south Cotswolds. We run RAD ballet, Dance Explorers and creative movement for children on Saturday mornings, for ages 2½ to 11 in small groups with qualified, DBS-checked teachers. A £10 trial is available with no obligation.

Lechlade is a pleasant riverside town on the upper Thames with a settled community feel. Specialist children's dance is limited in the immediate area, so Fairford is the natural destination for families who want proper teaching at this level. Classes finish by lunchtime and the drive along the A361 takes about 10 minutes, which works well for families in Lechlade and the Thames-side villages nearby.

What is the Dance Explorers class, and is it right for my toddler?
Dance Explorers is our pre-school programme for children aged 2½ to school age. It uses imaginative play, storytelling and music to introduce movement, balance and coordination. No prior experience is needed and there is no pressure to perform. It is a genuinely enjoyable first experience of dance.
Are there classes for older children at the Fairford venue?
Yes. We offer RAD ballet at Pre-Primary, Primary and Grade 2 levels, and Junior Street Dance, all at Fairford on Saturday mornings. These are suitable for children from Reception through to Year 6. Use the year-group filter on this page to find the right class for your child.
